NJHS Inducts New Members

West Point Middle School's Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted twenty-seven new members on March 12, 2025. The ceremony began with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, which was performed by community partner volunteers from James I. O'Neill High School's Select Chorus. Also on hand from O'Neill were partner volunteers from their National Honor Society who spoke to new members about the pillars of Character, Scholarship, Service, and Leadership. In addition to maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.61 in core coursework, NJHS members pledged to uphold the pillars highlighted by the ceremony's guest speakers in their quest to serve their school, community, and world as exemplary citizens committed to making a positive impact.
