Sailing Toward Success: WPMS Hosts 10th Annual Speech Competition

The 10th Annual Speech Competition at WPMS showcased the remarkable talent and eloquence of its students. Participants were challenged to craft and deliver speeches inspired by the quote, "We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails." After a rigorous selection process, six finalists earned the opportunity to present their thought-provoking speeches before an audience of peers, faculty, and proud parents during a school-wide assembly.

A panel of esteemed guest judges from the community evaluated the finalists and selected the top three winners. Eve Waite earned first place, impressing the judges with her insightful interpretation and confident delivery. Ana Diaz secured second place, followed by Lillyne Weber in third. All six finalists demonstrated exceptional poise and passion, making the event a memorable celebration of student voice and resilience.
