WPMS Band Classes Conclude Winter Band Olympics with Creative Flair

Students in WPMS Band Classes recently wrapped up their annual Winter Band Olympics.  Olympians competed as individuals as well as teams in six different events, ranging from technical accuracy on their instruments to knowledge of music theory and vocabulary in the four-week unit.  Pictured here is a team-designed instrument built in the event 2025 FORGE, in which teams were given a collection of recyclable materials and tasked to build an instrument during two class periods.
